Zpacks Replacement Trekking Pole Tip, Basket & Rubber Tip

Keep those trekking poles on trail with our replacement tips. This kit includes the trekking pole tip, basket, and our rubber "road tip."
Featuring a universal threaded pole tip, these pieces fit the majority of standard trekking poles with a ~12mm tapered lower section.
To remove your old tip you will likely need to cut down the side of the tip and pry it off to the break the glue. An alternative, easier solution is to swap out the entire lower section of your pole. Our lower sections will fit any 12mm poles.

The Kit includes:

Replacement Plastic Pole Cap: 9 g (.4 oz)
Replacement Metal Trekking Pole Tip: 3 g (.1 oz)
Replacement Basket: 8 g (.3 oz)
Replacement Rubber "Road Tip:" 12 g (.4 oz)
Total: 31 grams (1.1 oz) 

Instalation Instructions

1) If possible, twist / pull the old metal tip out using pliers. 
2) Using a locking blade, carefully scrape/cut away from yourself and down the side of the existing plastic tip creating a slice.
3) When you have a complete slice that goes all the way until the end of the plastic tip, use pliers to twist it off.
4) Jam on the new plastic part to the same depth as the original.
5) Jam in the new metal tip to lock it in place.

Note: If you experience difficulty removing old tips due to adhesive, consider purchasing a replacement lower pole section for easier installation.
Zpacks lower sections fit any 12mm poles and eliminate the need for tip removal.
