Warbonnet 20°F (-6°C) Wooki XL underquilt

Warbonnet 20°F (-6°C) Wooki XL underquilt

Warbonnet Outdoors 20°F (-6°C) Wooki XL underquiltis full-length custom underquilt for the Blackbird XLC, Eldorado and Traveler XL hammock models. It covers the entire bottom section of the hammock, with a 193 cm x 112 cm (76” x 44”) insulated section that tapers towards the feet.

The outer shell is available in 15D High Threadcount DWR ripstop nylon and features dual differential-cut chambers to deliver maximum loft. Filled with 850 FP Hyper-Dry DWR down which meets the new RSD certification (Responsible Down Standard).

It doesn’t require any adjustment, you literally set it and forget it. If you are over 193 cm (6’4″) in height the Wooki is still sufficient. The insulated part goes right to the tip of the footbox and your feet should never hang past that point when laying in the hammock correctly. If the tip of your head sticks a few inches past the insulation this is also not an issue, in warmer weather you do not need insulation there, in colder weather you will be wearing a hat or down hood and possibly a pillow, any of these things will take care of insulation for your head. We have users all the way up to 198 cm (6’6″) using the Wooki with no issues.

It is possible to use the Wooki on similarly sized non-Warbonnet hammocks as well, the elastic portion of the Wooki suspension can be lengthened slightly with a short leash of cord to make fit a longer hammock or to intentionally create an inefficient fit in warmer weather, although most people will be able to use a cold weather quilt in warmer weather by simply venting your topside insulation just like you do at home in a bed. If you do modify the Wooki suspension to fit a different hammock it should be adjusted so the band stretches 2″ (with someone laying in the hammock).
