Pa’lante Joey Pack - is a multi-day vest-style pack designed for efficient weight distribution. Joey's main compartment is tube-shaped, suitable for fast and light outings. It accommodates a sleeping bag, pad, tarp, and clothing for three-season trips. The pack is limited to reasonable weights, allowing for comfortable running.
Shoulder straps are like running vest-style straps, and there are several pockets sewn into them. Additionally, there are two chest straps which secure the load. Made from two layers of spacer mesh, the stretchable straps mold to shoulders, ensuring a compact fit for short and wide 500-milliliter soft flasks. Beneath them, smaller snack pockets can also hold phones.
The body of the Joey has two small side water bottle pockets, one Pa’lante signature bottom stretch pocket with two separate ports, and a big rear pocket, all made from durable UHMPWE grid mesh material. The side pockets can hold small bottles and trekking poles using the shock cord. However, they won't fit larger bottles, which could be seen as a limitation rather than a flaw.
The pack also offers various external attachment and compression points, including both side compression straps at the top part of the pack's main body and a top compression strap with an aluminum G-hook, which secures the content of the front mesh pocket and main body opening.
Bottom stretch pocket holds Buffs, gloves, jackets, and snacks, while the large rear pocket is ideal for layers like wind and rain jackets. Although tight, it can accommodate a two-liter Platypus bottle and a rain jacket with some effort.
