CUMULUS Quilt 450 - is suitable for use at temperatures slightly below zero. Quilt 450, combined with a good mattress is a little bit more thermally efficient than model Panyam 450 because the same amount of down fills a slightly smaller space. The quilt does not have a hood and is also a few inches shorter but most importantly, a much larger percentage of down filling is continuously used for insulation. Just as in other products of this series, manufacturer used the Pertex Quantum fabric here weighing 29 g/m² and the highest quality 850 cuin Polish goose down.
In this version, Cumulus incorporate a zipper in the bottom part of the quilt - this way you can ventilate your legs, if you have such need, or fully open the quilt and use it as a blanket.
Especially during warmer nights it can be used as regular bedding, enough for two people, or it can be fixed to the mattress and used instead of sleeping bag. Its open design ensures that the insulation properties of the down are utilised to their fullest, without restricting movement, making it an ideal solution for those who dislike confined spaces. Yet another advantage is the new way of attaching it to a mattress, far more conveniently than before.
